When you run the Assistant application, the Assistant's main window will be displayed. This window has the menu, the toolbar and the status bar.

The main window is composed of the Report window (left) and the Project window (right). The Report window consists a text with a description of a current state of all project's parts. The content of this window updates automatically after any change of the project. The Project window embodies five pages:

·   Project Description;

·   Mathematical Model;

·   Input Data;

·   Correlation;

·   Results.

In order to carry out uncertainty calculation for a new project choose the New command from the File menu and fill these pages in the next consecutive order:

Step 1. Describe the project.

Step 2. Set a mathematical model of the measurement process.

Step 3. Insert available data about input quantities of the mathematical model.

Step 4. Assign correlation's coefficient for quantities of the mathematical model.

Step 5. Analyze the results of uncertainty calculations.

Step 6. Create report.

The main window, The program Assistant enables easy to perform the metrological uncertainty analysis by requirements of ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/QS 9000, EN 45000 standards. Luxon Software, Assistant 2.3.
